South Africa coach Mickey Arthur will rest captain Graeme Smith (elbow), pace spearhead Dale Steyn (hamstring) and spinner Paul Harris (thumb) although all three are expected to play in the two-day game against a WA XI at the WACA on Friday and Saturday.
